By accessing or using WarmPath (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. WarmPath is operated by Pivotal Hires (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using WarmPath you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal right to use any contact data you provide.
3. Description of service
WarmPath cross-references your personal contact list against publicly available job postings to help you identify warm referral opportunities. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial job-search use only.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Only upload or connect contact data that you have the right to use.
- Not use the Service to send unsolicited messages, spam, or harass any individual.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying APIs.
- Verify that a contact still works at a company before reaching out — job and employer data may be outdated.
5. Contact data and privacy
Your contact data is processed entirely in your browser and is never stored on our servers. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party APIs (including job search providers and AI services) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party data. Their use is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Accuracy of job listings
Job listings are sourced from third-party providers and may be outdated, inaccurate, or no longer available. WarmPath makes no guarantee that any listed position is open, that your contact still works at a given company, or that a referral will result in an interview or offer. Always verify information independently before taking action.
8. Intellectual property
The WarmPath name, logo, and software are the property of Pivotal Hires. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIVOTAL HIRES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
